At Jersey Podcast, we believe that great ideas deserve to be heard. That is why we opened our studio doors to Ope Olaleye, the host of TEDx St. Helier, to facilitate a special eight-episode audio series.

A TEDx talk is a powerful moment. But what happens once the speaker steps off the red dot and the applause fades?

That is exactly what this series explores.

We welcomed the 2025 TEDx speakers into the studio to sit down with Ope. However, these weren’t just rehearsals of their upcoming talks. As Ope explained during recording, this series isn’t about "reinventing the TEDx conversation."

Instead, it asks a more important question: How do ideas evolve?

Across these eight episodes, Ope digs into how these big concepts are showing up in everyday conversations across Jersey. They discuss the real-world impact these ideas are having on our community and how they have grown since their inception.
